Celebrating World Autism

Awareness Day 2025

World Autism Awareness Day takes place every year on the 2nd of April and is a designated United Nations Day of Observance.

In celebration of the day, the students and staff of LSST dressed in blue; blue is the official colour of the autism awareness movement.

There was great excitement with everyone joining the celebrations to release eight balloons to symbolise each of our classes and their brilliance.

Piecing together a world of understanding

During Autism Awareness Week, Libermann students each contributed a piece to a collaborative jigsaw. As their individual segments connected, they created a unified symbol of understanding and teamwork.

Santa visits our school, with a little

help from An Garda Síochána and

Dublin Fire Brigade.

Santa came to visit the pupils and staff of Libermann School.  They really enjoyed chatting with Santa along with a visit from An Garda Síochána and Dublin Fire Brigade on the day.  The children sang a Christmas song and used their LAMH signs for our visitors.

We hope you enjoy the video.

We greatly appreciate all the help and support we have received and send our sincere thanks to all who have helped the school.

We now have a new page for donations to support of the school.  All funds raised will go towards supporting resources and extra activities for the pupils.

You can visit our iDonate page via the link opposite.

Thank you again for your support.

About Libermann Spiritan School Templeogue (LSST)

LSST is a co-educational Special School founded in the Spiritan ethos, under the patronage of the Archdiocese of Dublin. Our school will provide a safe and caring, learning environment for autistic students with complex learning needs who require the support of a special school.

The age profile of our students is from four years of age up to 18 years of age.
